Commercial laser tag equipment

Three ways to buy commercial laser tag

Start vestless with sensors in the blaster, add LED Smart Vests, or run the full dual-play system. Same connected platform at every stage, so the tier you buy first is never the tier you regret.

One platform, three audiences

Start where the three-year-olds are. Grow to the forty-year-olds.

One set of smart blasters covers every stage. Add vests, add Gellets, and the same equipment keeps up as your audience widens.

01

Built for ages 3 to 8

The sensors live in the blaster, so there is nothing to strap onto a five-year-old. No vest to size, adjust, or talk a nervous kid into wearing.

02

Hot-swappable batteries

Swap a battery instead of taking the entire blaster out of rotation for a recharge. The equipment is designed around the pace of commercial play.

03

BattleCam highlights

BattleCam turns gameplay into branded, shareable player highlights that carry the venue experience beyond the match.

04

The blasters never become obsolete

Add Smart Vests and you reach 8 to 12. Add Gellets and you reach 10 to 40. Same blasters throughout, so nothing you buy first gets thrown away later.

Start anywhere. Expand when it makes sense.

Buy the stage that fits today. Add the next when it pays for itself.

Vestless laser tag can help operators reach younger players who may be too small for a full vest. From there, add LED Smart Vests for a more immersive laser-tag experience, then add Gellets and the Gellet hydration system to unlock Gel Blaster gameplay. Or begin at either upgrade stage from day one.

  1. 01

    Blasters only · ages 3–8

Sensors in the blaster, nothing worn. The easiest thing in your building to put a small child into.

  2. 02

Add Smart Vests · ages 8–12

Same blasters, now with lit panels, speakers, and haptics. Older kids get the hits they can feel, and you get the format they will queue for.

  3. 03

    Add Gellets · ages 10–40

Add Gellets and the hydration system and the same kit runs full Gel Blaster. This is the stage that sells to adults.

Every stage is an entry point. Start with the configuration that fits your audience, budget, and operating model—then expand without replacing the core system.

Common questions

Vestless laser tag system FAQ

What is vestless laser tag?

Vestless laser tag places the player hit sensors in the blaster itself, so each player can enter the game with a smart blaster and no wearable vest.

Do players need to wear a vest?

No. Nexus can run a vestless laser-tag configuration using the sensors built into the smart blaster. Tech vests are an optional upgrade path.

What do the Nexus tech vests add?

Lit panels, speakers, haptic response, and extra connected hit detection, on the same smart blasters. It widens the room from roughly ages 3 to 8 up to 8 to 12.

Can the same blasters also run Gel Blaster gameplay?

Yes. Add Nexus LED Smart Vests, Gellets, and the Gellet hydration system to unlock Gel Blaster gameplay with the same smart blasters and supporting Nexus platform.

Does an operator have to start with vestless laser tag?

No. An operator can begin with vestless laser tag, LED Smart Vest laser tag, or the complete dual-play Gel Blaster configuration. Each stage can be an entry point, and the system can expand without replacing the core smart blasters.

What happens when a blaster battery runs low?

Nexus smart blasters use hot-swappable batteries, allowing the operator to replace the battery and return the blaster to play without waiting for the full unit to recharge.
